Debra Barnes, Chief Flight Nurse
Debra Barnes is a native Memphian. She began her Nursing education at Baptist School of Nursing and completed her formal education by attending Belmont University in Nashville earning her MSN. Recognized as an active member in the Memphis medical community, Debra has worked closely with developing best practice measures in emergency medical services.
Debra became a member of the original staff of Hospital Wing in 1986as a flight nurse. She began her current position as Chief Flight Nurse in 1992. She is active in numerous Emergency Medial Associations and national Nursing organizations. She enjoys "Memphian" activities, golfing, hanging out with family and friends.
