Dr. Martin Croce, Medical Director
Martin A. Croce, MD, was born in Camden, NJ, in 1957. He graduated from high school and then obtained a Bachelor of Science from the University of Notre Dame in 1979. He obtained his medical degree from the University of Tennessee in 1983. He then completed his residency at the University of Tennessee in 1988 and then completed a Fellowship in Surgical Critical Care at the University of Miami, Jackson Memorial Hospital in 1989. He returned to the Department of Surgery at the University of Tennessee as an Assistant Professor in 1989.
He was named Associate Professor in 1994 while serving as the Associate Medical Director of the Presley Regional Trauma Center. In 1999, he was named Medical Director of the Presley Regional Trauma Center. In 2000, he was promoted to Professor of Surgery. De. Croce is married to his wife, Celine, and they have two sons, Matthew and Patrick.
